Kourisodon Kourisodon is an extinct genus of mosasaur that was discovered in Upper Santonian deposits in of Canada, and on Shikoku Island, Japan. The type species and holotype, Kourisodon puntledgensis, is known from an anterior portion of a skull and lower jaws.^[1]
