Calycoceras is an extinct ammonite genus from the Upper Cretaceous (Cenom - L Turon) included in the Acanthoceratidae. Shells of Calycoceras are rather evolute and strongly ribbed. Whorls somewhat overlap those previous and have round, oval, or quadrate sections. Ribs cross over the venter and typically have tubercles.

Acompsoceras, Sharpeiceras, and Mantelliceras are considered related. Four subgenera are recognised, Calycoceras (Calycoceras), Calycoceras (Gentoniceras), Calycoceras (Newboldiceras), and Calycoceras (Proeucalycoceras).
