Order: Ammonitida
Superfamily: Perisphinctaceae
Family: Berriasellidae
Subfamily: Neocomitinae
Genus: Calliptychoceras

Calliptychoceras Spath, 1924, is a berriasellid ammonite, extant from the Late Jurassic to very Early Cretaceous. Some references however give Neocomitidae as the family. Neocomites calliptychus Uhlig 1910 is the type.

Calliptychoceras is evolute, with rather distinct sinuous ribs that branch from distinct umbilical tubercles., and again mid-sides forming slight, sharp ventro-lateral tubercles. The whorl section is oval, higher than wide, with a moderate dorsal impression.

Hatchericeras, Thurmanniceras, Favrella, and Lissonia are among related genera.
